Happiness vs. Holiness

I read a quote today that I wanted to share with you guys....

"We forget that God's primary goal is not CHANGING our situations and relationships tso that we can be HAPPY, nbut changing us THROUGH our situations and relationships so that we will be HOLY." Paul David Tripp

The thing I want you to get and I want to be focused on myself is that those tough situations and circumstances in our lives, God may choose not to resolve in our timing because His goal and plan for us goes far above simply be happy. He wants us to be holy. He is transforming us into the likeness of Jesus. When we take a step back from the circumstance, we begin to see God has bigger and better plans for us, plans that we may not understand, but that just shows how detailed of an eye God sees us with. He not only sees the circumstance, He sees the treasure behind the circumstance and He wants you to have that in view as well!
