Shattered, Crashing, Breaking

Post by AshleighJoy on Mon Aug 29, 2011 10:14 pm

The world around me is shattered, crashing, breaking

Everythings changing and I'm growing up way too fast

Isn't there some way to go and change the past?

Nothing seems to be the same anymore

Can I go back to being four?

Back to when everything was simple and easy

Now things have changed and I'm growing up

Maturity is supposed to come with age

Yet I feel I'm too immature to grow up

The world around me is shattered, crashing, breaking

Is there anyway to stop the spinning?

I don't want to grow up anymore...

I feel like a child trapped in a young woman's body

It's like there's so much pressure from the world

Do this do that, change this, change that

The world around me is shattered, crashing, breaking

I can't stop it or slow it down

I just sit here and float on through

Praying it all works out in the end

Hoping that with time I'll mature

Believeing that I'll be able to handle the growing up responsibility

The world around me is shattered, crashing, breaking

It's hard to believe that things have changed so much

You go from being a baby having everything done for you

To being a teen wishing for independance

To being a young adult with lots of expectations

And wishing you could go back to when things were easy

The world around me is shattered, crashing, breaking

I know how far I've come it just seems right now I've got no help or support (I know I have support it's just annoying 'cause I'm afraid to reach out!) And I really need help moving and at this point my parents won't even let me use the truck so I prob have to pay for a mover to come and do it which is an expense I wanted to avoid especially when I know guys that could lift things that are heavy but they are all tied up except for two younger guys that can't really help much!

Yea that is a tough situation to be in, but just lean on God Ashleigh. He will provide, all you got to do is ask. Not only will he provide but will help you through all this. Its nots easy to grow up, i know that for sure. I will be 19 soon. Its definitely not the best thing in the world especially when you realize all the responsibilities you have now. i will pray about this for ya Very Happy

Here's a tip, don't waste your life now regretting past mistakes or failures. Instead, see the grace that God has displayed in your life and use your own past mistakes and failures to warn others of making the same ones! Use it as a teaching tool!
